Understanding Time to Play
|
I remember when I was so small, I went outside and play with my friends. We decided to play cooking. Since we don't get to play with real ingredients, we have to play with sands instead. One day, my Mom told me not to play outside. She had other plans and wanted me to do my homework right away. I didn't want to, as it was my play time at that hour. So I slipped away and played cooking with my friends. We decided to cook worms that afternoon. We were cutting the worms, getting ready to cook omelette. I was so happy it was my turn to cut those worms. I planned to add tomatoes to my special omelette later. Then I noticed my friends were grinning and asked me to see who's beside me squatting. I was so excited I thought I got a new friend today. I looked up and found my Mom was beside me with her angry face. I was shocked and screamed so loud and ran away uncontrollably, crying. I was so scared to death.
