Understanding Payback
Today, my Mom woke me up at around 4 AM in the morning. She asked me to do my laundry, wash the dishes in the kitchen, and go buy breakfast for everybody in the house. She had never asked me to do house chores in the morning before, so I was pretty upset.
"I'm still sleepy, Mom, OMG Mom, MOM !!!", I screamed loudly in my mind.
Then, just when I'd accomplished those morning challenges my Mom gave me, I felt that
bowel movement started to kick in. Of course, I wouldn't miss that chance. That was like,
poetic justice. I immediately used that restroom adjacent to my Mom's room, closed the door, and felt relieved my Mom didn't stop me from going in (normally she knows too much of everything).
Then, about two minutes later, my Mom knocked the toilet door, and said,
"Why are you in my bathroom? I need to take a shower. Next time, use your own bathroom upstairs."
Then I proceeded to my
finishing touch, and continued
the business in the toilet upstairs. I said to myself, "Mom, maybe you can shower in another 30 minutes, until the smell subsides. Be late to the office once in a while, will you? It's good for your health. Experience that feeling of being angered at."
She should've told me the night before.
